Leah Petri, a longtime luxury agent at Austin’s Gottesman Residential Real Estate, believes in the power of connection.
As an Austin native and a graduate of Westlake High School, Leah is closely connected to the community. She is married to a sixth-generation Austinite and Westlake grad, Chris Petri, and they have two sons, Walker and Hughes. Walker is a junior at Regents School of Austin and plays varsity football; Hughes is a freshman at Westlake and plays on the golf team. Leah also is closely connected to Austin’s business community, having worked in the corporate world at Dell Technologies for over 12 years. These ties and experience help Leah connect relocating executives with ideal properties and enable her to get up her clients to speed on all things Austin efficiently. Leah’s deep connections in Austin pay off for her clients. She helps them find the right home in the right neighborhood, enabling clients to settle where there’s easy access to grocery stores, high-quality schools and an array of community amenities.
As a volunteer, Leah is closely connected to Austin’s nonprofit community through organizations like the Seton Development Board, a fundraising arm supporting the Seton Healthcare Family. Other local and global nonprofits she’s involved with include The Source (helping women), Community First Village (helping Austin’s homeless population), Helping Hand Home for Children, Kids Outdoor Zone for boys (KOZ) and Victory School Uganda.
And as a residential real estate professional in the Austin area since 2010, Leah is closely connected to the region’s homebuilders and architects, and — most notably — to the needs of homebuyers and home sellers. On top of that, the connections and relationships she’s built and maintained in Austin’s broker community equip her with the latest insights into the local real estate market.
Leah taps into her strong connections to deliver access to “coming soon” and private-market homes, rather than waiting for them to come on the public market. Above all, she consistently demonstrates her passion for matching the right homes with the right clients, whether they’re buyers or sellers. Leah backs up her well-connected knowledge of Austin’s real estate market with impressive results for her clients. Her many accolades reflect those results. Among them are:
3 years of membership in Elite 25 Austin, representing the top Realtors from Austin’s leading brokerages, and Luxury League Austin, whose agents specialize in transactions over $1 million. These signal that Leah is among the top 1% of agents in Austin and ensures she is closely connected with other brokerages.
Ranked No. 17 among individually producing agents in the Austin Business Journal’s 2021 Residential Real Estate Awards program.
3 years as a Five Star Professional in residential real estate, an honor based on voting by peers and clients.
In addition, Leah is a member of the Austin Luxury Network, Austin Board of Realtors®, Texas Association of Realtors®, the National Association of Realtors®, AIA Austin, and she is working toward a brokers license.
The close connections she has built as an Austin native, corporate employee, and residential real estate professional, along with the accolades she has accumulated, make Leah a trusted partner in your home-buying or home-selling journey, whether you’re a new arrival or a longtime resident.
